Just consigned & coming up in our February 19th Fine Militaria sale this broken propellor blade has a faint inscription handwritten to one side denoting it as from a ' Sopwith TAB*** 120 HP "CLERGIT" Oct 9th 1916 Crashed At Wilsons Farm ' . A timeless piece of history from the early biplane era with more research ongoing this early crash relic is from one of the Sopwith models , an early military scout. This & some Royal Flying Corps memorabilia will be coming up including an RFC leather flying coat & ephemera grouping comprised of wartime maps & various RFC manuals ..
