Rare WW2 British Double Flashed Helmet KOYLI & RA ( Served N.W Europe June 1944 - May 1945 ) . This helmet has had a blue & red diamond flash of the Artillery placed over a three colour flash of the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry . The 8th Battn KOYLI transferred to the Royal Artillery early in the war & fought in a Light Anti Aircraft role as the 94th Light AA regiment . Transferring to the Guards Armoured Division in 1942 & fought with them in North West Europe from June 1944 until May 1945. Marked 'RoCo1939' to underside of rim ( Rubery owen) & dated 1939 the liner is marked VERO & dated 1940.
